{FRENCH ROYALTY ALL FRAMED UP}

Two new collage sheets that are listed at my boutique Darvahlous and at my Etsy of the same name.

"Marie Antoinette and Roses" freatures famous framed portraits of the first lady of fashion with delicate pink roses.

"Princesses and Pearls" features the works of one of my favorite painters Jean-Marc Nattier who was a court painter during the reign of King Louis VX.  The portraits are of ladies of the court including his daughters, Louise, Sophie, Adelaide and Marie.  Love how Jean-Marc rocked the tiny flowers in there hair.

{YARD WORK TIME}

Its that time of year, get out in the yard and work till I drop.  Dividing, moving, the dreading weeding.  Where did all the poisen ivy come from?  Have so much of it.  Im not bothered by it  but Phil can't get near the stuff or he breaks out so I have the honor of yanking it up.  Knock on wood, I've never gotten a rash before.  Year 3 and I am still pulling up violets, not too many in the beds but the grass is still full of them.  Do not plant voilets in your yard!  Bad, bad, bad, they will take over your yard.  Keep them in a pot where they can be controled.  The wild onion fairies have also visited us over the winter.  Magically wild onions have appeared in all the flower beds.  One more thing to add to my eradication list:  poisen ivy, voilets, wild strawberries, passion flowers and wild onions.

The daffodils have bloomed and died off already.  The tulips are amazing and the iris are getting to bloom.  Lots of blooms forming.  Spring is full sprung and this week is the temps are going to be in the 70's with no rain in sight, couldn't ask for anything more perfect for working in the dirt.
